Social work: as a social worker i can understand what people go thru, the struggle is real. and some may use marijuana for relaxation. i think not legalizing weed would also be a good idea, because it would be off the streets and it wouldn't be used in our community no more. Marijuana is in the use of all ages and maybe legalizing it would be a big help.

Marijuana user: as a marijuana user you may think having a larger amount of THC in your system will kill you, but you may be wrong. ever since marijuana has been known to human beings, not  one single account of death from an overdose has been recorded. on the other hand, in 2010, 38,329 people died from drug over use. As a user my opinion is that marijuana will not kill you but will heal you.

Teacher: as a teacher i think legalize it because then it gets taken off the streets, so that the gang members are no longer in control anymore, gang members sell to young kids and other ages and it just messes there heads up and also as a teacher I hate seeing my students stoned and not all there, we need to take control and help our community out. Having marijuana legalized would be a god idea having say that marijuana will then be use in safety matters.

This term we are studying the debate around legalizing marijuana in New Zealand. At this stage my opinion is that i think they should legalize marijuana so that people can get the right amount and the right type of drug to help cure what ever is wrong with them.

These are the questions I have.....

1. Does marijuana help cure cancer?

2. What else do they put in the drug to make different types of marijuana?

3. Will it be easy to purchase?

4 Can it help with any other issues with body?

5. Is there physical damages after taking marijuana?

I need to research the positives and negatives about marijuana.

Efficacy- The belief you have within yourself

What is interesting? This year i find that me keeping on task with most subjects is interesting because last year i was easily distracted and didn't have much interest in any work.
How has it affected me? Having belief in myself and hoping that i have a bright future.
What is important to me? My family and my future are the most important things to me.
What is not important? Friends because family is all we need.
What do i need to change? I think that i need to change my attitude towards others and be more pleasant.
What did i already know? i didn't know much about self efficacy until i stayed focus in one of the pe lessons and i think that was one of my biggest mistakes. Self efficacy is what our generation needs to learn it is self motivating and life changing.

My vision board

Short term goal: Come to school on time and stay on track with my learning.

Medium term goal: Pass all NCEA levels & Stay in school till yr13

Long term goal: Have a temporary job before ending school, then study for flight attendant & hopefully get the job.
